As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take a leading role in the responsibility for all aspects of mechanical design of water processing plants. You will liaise with clients and internal engineers to ensure compliance and to design and integrate the mechanical elements into the overall plant.

Excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer/fitter to join a highly successful company in their instrument manufacturing team.
You will be responsible for the assembly of scientific instrumentation, combining components to construct complex sub-assemblies and instruments. The ability to assemble intricate parts to fine tolerances is a key attribute to this role – during the course of your work you will also be encouraged to identify potential engineering improvements and carry out basic functional testing of the assembled system.
Candidates should have an engineering background e.g. an apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent in either mechanical or electrical engineering. Excellent team and communication skills are a must. A background in precision engineering/assembly from the automotive, aerospace, scientific instrument or medical device industry would be beneficial.
