VRS Ltd is committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of our candidates, clients and users of our website. We want to provide a safe and secure user experience. Under GDPR, we can only hold or process your personal data on one or more grounds. This privacy policy details how we use and protect any data that you provide or that we collect from you whilst you visit this site and through communication with our consultants.

The Data Controller

VRS Ltd is the data controller for any personal information you supply to us in relation to enquiries about our services and when registering as a client or candidate.

Information we collect

We will use the data you have supplied to provide a better service for you. We may collect the following information:

  • Other relevant information from your CV eg demographic information such as postcodes, preferences and professional interests.

All personally identifiable data will be deleted after a period of 12 months if there is no legitimate interest. If there is a legitimate interest, we will hold your data indefinitely unless you request for it to be deleted.

How we will use the information

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping
  • To provide and improve our services to you
  • To enable you to submit your CV for general applications, to apply for specific jobs or to subscribe to our job alerts
  • To match your details to job vacancies to find a suitable position
  • To contact you via email or phone about vacancies which we believe may be suitable
  • To send your information to clients for potential jobs to assess suitability for the specific roles. We will obtain specific consent before presenting details to a client
  • Where you have consented, we may directly market job alerts and our services. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time from receiving any further communication from us
  • We may also release your personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies if they require us to do so by law

Protection of your personal data

We will not use your personal data other than for the purposes described in this notice.

This website allows you to register your details with VRS Ltd using the following forms: CV drop off, Register, Contact Us and by specific job applications. Communications via our website are encrypted and delivered securely over HTTPS.

When you register with us we will use the information that you provide for the purposes of:

  • assessing your qualifications for specific roles that you apply for
  • to match it against any other employment opportunities handled by VRS Ltd as they arise
  • to periodically keep you informed of our services

This ensures that VRS Ltd are consistently seeking the most appropriate job opportunities for you. Your CV will be stored in our secure online database and will only be accessible by our recruitment consultants. You can update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure as submitting a new CV. Your old CV will then be archived.

We do not share, sell or lease personal information about you to any third-parties for their marketing use. VRS Ltd will not supply your data to third parties (including prospective employers) without your specific consent. Employers may be located both inside and outside the European Economic Area.

If you opt to receive communications from us, we will ask you to give your consent. We will not bombard you with endless emails but from time-to-time would like to share relevant jobs and information with you. You can choose to opt-out at any time by contacting us. We will only contact you if there is a legitimate interest.

If you opt in to our Job Alerts service, we will ask you to give your explicit consent to receiving such communications and this consent will authorise us to process your data. You can withdraw your consent at any time in one of the ways described below or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button on any emails we send you.

Storing your personal data

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure website and central in-house database accessible only by VRS Ltd recruitment consultants.

No individual identifiable information can be accessed via the VRS Ltd website.

VRS Ltd collects statistical information about visitors to our website to ascertain which areas and services are accessed most frequently, which helps us to understand how we can continually improve the website experience for our visitors.
