A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and accomplished GC-MS scientist to join an innovative instrument vendor!
Predominantly lab-based, you will focus on post-sales support for issues related to GC-MS hardware, software and application methodologies. You will work closely with the development team to research, plan & develop new analytical methodologies for a range of industry applications.
You will be expected to travel to UK customer sites ~20% of your time to assist with method set-up and deliver pre/post-sales support as required, forming strong customer relationships. You will also have the opportunity to attend and present your work at scientific meetings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum BSc in Chemistry or related subject
- Strong experience in GC-MS analyses
- GC-MS method development/optimisation/validation experience
- Exemplary communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
