Our client has built a strong reputation in tackling highly complex analytical studies that require extensive industry expertise. With over 65 years of experience in the aquatic, ecotoxicology, and environmental fate industries, they help clients understand the lifecycle of chemicals in the environment and their impact on ecosystems. They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Laboratory Coordinator.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all incoming samples and ensuring timely, accurate shipment coordination with suppliers. You will be required to communicate effectively with clients, foster strong working relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes. Additional duties include procuring and sourcing specialised substances, coordinating the outsourcing of radiolabelled compounds, and ensuring the safe and correct disposal of expired substances and reagents.

•Have previous experience in a laboratory position handling and storing test substances

•Possess excellent communication skills and comfortable liaising with clients directly

•Have experience with internal databases such as LIMS

•Demonstrate strong organisational skills
