About this job

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and high-calibre Co-ordinator to work with the Laboratory support team and alongside the client scientific community. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating external contractors/Service Engineers who are due on-site to install, service, calibrate, maintain and fix laboratory instrumentation.

Your key responsibilities as the successful candidate will be:

Co-ordinating repairs and proactive maintenance efforts utilising both in-house and external engineering resources.

Serving as the primary contact and host for all visiting engineers, ensuring their compliance with client protocols.

Acting as the initial point of response for equipment repair issues and assisting the scientific team with equipment setup.

Delivering clear and effective communication to the client's user group while collaborating closely with our existing Laboratory support team.

Accurately inputting all necessary data into the client's asset and compliance databases to maintain a clear history of assets and data integrity.

Required experience:

Experience in a Scientific position

Experience in an administrative/customer-facing role is desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge/experience of laboratory regulations desired

Skilled in using Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
