About this job

Our client, has identified unique protein signatures in clinical samples that have been verified as biomarkers for drug response. Using a range of high end mass spectrometry equipment, they have designed and developed novel biomarker assays that could be used in a clinical setting to analyse drug efficacy, ensuring that an effective treatment is prescribed more often.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing & validating LC-MS biomarker methods on LC-MS QQQ instruments and contributing towards the continuous improvement of existing assays and taking a leading role in the development of novel assays to be used in clinical trials.

Candidates with the following experience will be considered for this role:

• At least 3 years hands on experience with LC-MS instruments including an understanding of developing and validating methods on QQQ instruments
• Experience of handling and working with biological/clinical samples e.g. cell lines, blood, tissue
• Excellent communication skills
