They currently have exceptional opportunities for ambitious Scientists/Physicists to join their dynamic R&D team, designing and developing state-of-the-art mass spectrometers.

As a member of the R&D team, you will work cross-departmentally to investigate, develop, and implement mass spectrometry based technology, producing design specifications and technical reports. You will be hands-on, working on bespoke & commercial mass spectrometers, including ion optics, ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems and electrodynamic components.

With excellent writing and communication skills, you will carry out scientific data analysis and bring an innovative approach to working in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and you will work out of our client’s facility in Bremen.

To be successful in these exciting roles, you will possess:

  • A MSc or PhD or equivalent in Physics or Chemistry (or related)
  • A background in design and development of complex analytical equipment (mass spectrometry, ion optics, electron microscopes, high vacuum systems, electromechanical equipment, etc…)
  • Basic scripting skills (R, Python, C++, MATLAB etc.) are desirable.
  • Fluency in English, German language would be an advantage.
